Privacy Policy

This policy explains how ONE4THREESTUDIOS L.L.C. ("One4Three Studios", "we", "us") handles information in connection with our website and our software, including the Pharos application.

The short version

Pharos does not collect your collection data. It never leaves your device unless you choose to back it up somewhere you control. There is no account to create, and we operate no server that holds your cards. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with advertisers.

Information we collect

• Collection data you create. Cards you scan, containers, decks, and related records. This is created and stored on your device only. We never receive it.
• Backups. You choose whether to back up and where it goes: Apple iCloud, Google Drive, a file you keep, or nowhere at all. Those destinations are your own accounts. We have no access to them and hold no copy.
• Camera images. The scanner processes images to identify cards. Images are used for recognition and are not uploaded to us for storage.
• Crash reports. Where you leave Apple's standard crash sharing enabled on your device, Apple may pass us anonymised crash and performance data so defects can be fixed. This never includes your collection contents, and you can switch it off in iOS Settings at any time.
• Correspondence. If you email us, we hold that message and your address in order to reply.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent personal information.
• We do not use your collection data for advertising.
• We do not require an account to use the core features of the app.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment card details. Apple provides us with subscription status only.

Third-party data sources

Our software uses publicly available card data and imagery from Scryfall, and combination data from Commander Spellbook. These sources are credited in the application. Requests made to third-party services are subject to their own privacy policies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. This includes rights under the GDPR in the European Economic Area and the UK, and under the CCPA in California. Because your collection lives only on your device, you are already in full control of it: deleting records, or deleting the app, removes the data. We hold no copy to return, correct, or erase. The only personal information we may hold is correspondence you have sent us, which we will delete on request.

Children

Our software is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Retention

We keep correspondence only as long as needed to handle your enquiry. We retain no collection data, because we never receive any.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify users in the application.
